Smoked Bourbon Pecan Pie

INGREDIENTS
2 TBSP BOURBON
1/2 CUP TALK TEXAN BROWN SUGAR
1/3 CUP UNSALTED BUTTER, MELTED
1/2 CUP LIGHT, 1/2 CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
3 EGG
1/4 TSP SMOKED SALT
DECORATION PECAN
1 1/4 CUP CHOPPED PECANS, COARSELY BROKEN
1 PREPARED OR HOMEMADE PIE SHELL, DEEP
1/2 CUP SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat your Green Mountain Grill to 375°F. Meanwhile, prepare your pie crust in a 9 cast iron skillet or heat proof pie plate.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs until smooth. Add the brown sugar and white sugar and mix until smooth. Add the light corn syrup, dark corn syrup, vanilla, bourbon, melted butter, and Smoked Salt. Mix until smooth. Stir in your chopped pecans and pour into the pie crust. Top with the whole pecans, if desired.
- Grill covered for 35-45 minutes, until the pie is just set around the edges but still has a slight jiggle in the center.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
